The community leader of the Chibok community frowns on the attitude of the Borno state and the federal government of Nigeria toward the deplorable condition of the 194 Chibok girls who regained freedom from book haram at various times after captivity on 14th April 2024. He made this known at the 10th-year commemoration of #Bring Back Our Girls Group (BBOG) at Unity Fountain in Abuja

The leader of the community, Kibaku (Chibok) Area Development Association (KADA), Dauda Iliya expressed discontent with the federal government for the non-release of the remaining 81 Chibok girls who remain in the den of their captives ten (10) years after their abduction from Government Girls Secondary school in Chibok, Borno state of Nigeria

A total of 257 girls were abducted from school on the unfortunate day of 14th April 2014. Though there are conflicting figures for the number of girls still in captivity for over a decade, some other sources put the figure at 91. However, a total of 194 girls have so far been released from the camp of the deadly Islamic sect, boko haram, while the fate of 84 other girls is unknown. The girls abducted are mostly Christians
